Our roots go back to 1931 when William Smith began selling insurance from his home before opening an office in downtown Dunkirk. In 1954 Paul Barnum purchased Mr. Smith’s book of business and started Barnum Insurance. In 1986, Robert and Shelia Brown purchased the business and formed Barnum-Brown Insurance. Aaron and Stephanie Walter lead the agency today.
